PRO ITER Progetto Infrastrutture Territorio s.r.l. is an entirely private and independent engineering company operating in the field of infrastructure engineering design since 1998.
As the knowledge of and the direct participation in the development of transport infrastructures inevitably generate a more accurate interpretation of the future spatial planning, in 2004 PRO ITER initiates a new phase of diversification into the fields of new town planning developments and territory transformation and reconversion.
In 2007, after years of successful collaboration, the company "S.IN.C. S.r.l." (founded in 1995) merged into PRO ITER Progetto Infrastrutture Territorio s.r.l., conveying all its expertise in the field of geotechnics and underground engineering.
In 2008 the Group holding is set up to incorporate over the years the shares of subsidiary and affiliate companies and provide them with all the general services necessary for financial, administrative and logistics management.
As a result of the experience gained in the hydraulic field and the skills acquired through the merger, in 2009 PRO ITER expands to the hydroelectric plant design market.
In 2010 the company Tandem s.r.l., dedicated to carrying out studies and surveys on urban and interurban roads and walkways, is founded together with other market players.
In 2015 the company PRO ITER Ambiente s.r.l. is set up to operate in the field of environmental engineering with a focus on reclamation of contaminated soils, environment, health and safety (EH&S), environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.
Being firmly convinced that the design verification for validation purposes is a significant added value for Contracting Authorities within the construction process, in 2017 PRO ITER is formally accredited as Type C Inspection Body.
To further improve the range of services to be provided to its Clients, in 2018 PRO ITER Project and Construction Management s.r.l. is established with the aim of reorganizing in the new company the expertise existing within the Group, and at the same time enhancing it with innovative skills to meet the latest amendments contained in the new Public Procurement Code in terms of support services to the Tender Responsible Officer.
