PRO ITER provided the artist Paola Pivi with its engineering services to obtain the necessary security permits for the smooth running of the exhibition.

The photographic exhibition, imagined by the artist as a labyrinth inside the 'Chapelle du Centre de la Vieille Charité' in Marseilles, consists of thousands of images printed and placed on large canvases supported by 3-metre high wooden frames. Given the site historical nature, the authorities did not allow the frames to be fixed at the wall, so they had to be "self-supporting" (even in the face of "exceptional" horizontal actions).

The company's technicians examined the stability of the frame system, first by carrying out a study of the system's kinematics and then by creating a complete three-dimensional finite element model that made it possible to determine the number and position of the bracing.

The exhibition ran from 24 June to 12 September 2021.
